Parent Advisory Committee
The Parent Advisory Committee has been organized to:

Promote Jesus in our school and community, bringing about a new depth of spiritual understanding and vision that encourages parent involvement

Create opportunities and support activities that allow parents, teachers, school board members, churches, and students of Mountain View Academy to work together in a loving and caring environment.

Support and enhance the school program in ways that focus on biblical principles and foster academic excellence.
The more the home and school cooperate, the better education our students will receive. Education isn't only about book learning; it also encompasses the spiritual, social, and physical aspects of mankind. MVA can use you to greatly enhance our program in these areas.
Here is where your volunteer participation is needed:

Drivers and supervisors for school field trips
-
On campus supervision – before, after, and during school hours
- Coaching athletics
- Teacher aids
- Campus maintenance
- Periodic PAC meetings
- School Prayer Group
- Organizing various school activities and fund-raising events
- Providing staff appreciation events
- Miscellaneous events
The School Board and Parent Advisory Committee have approved:
- PAC registration (A $56.00 fee is required for fingerprinting for Criminal and FBI records. It will be credited after 40 hours of volunteer labor are completed.)
- 40 volunteer hours per family (This is the equivalent of volunteering for only four hours a month during the school year.)
- Yearly Membership: $200.00 (It will be credited after 40 hours as a volunteer are completed.)
