W A S C    E V A L U A T I O N    O U T S T A N D I N G!

Private and public highs schools undergo a full evaluation every six years by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the major education accreditation body of the West Coast that determines if a school is meeting its purpose goals and standards.  We are pleased to announce that MVA this past summer received a glowing report for the high quality of education that is taking place here.  The visiting committee recognized us for the superb curriculum we offer.  Another highlight noted by the committee:  MVA's excellent physical education program.  The report confirms that MVA is not o­nly providing a positive Christian experience for students, but the quality of our college-prep education is outstanding as well.  The chairman noted how socially mature our students were and how comfortable they were speaking with the WASC evaluation team.  The chairman of WASC quoted to our staff, "I would be proud to send my child to Mountain View Academy:

We have been accredited for a full six years, the maximum term awarded by WASC.  A special "thank you" goes out to all who participated in the evaluation process, including staff members and parents.
